What is this Condition?
Tarsal tunnel syndrome is compression of the posterior tibial nerve as it passes through the tarsal tunnel at the ankle.
Diagnosis Methods
Diagnosis is made through physical examination, Tinel test, and EMG.
Treatment Methods
Conservative treatment with orthotics; surgical release for refractory cases.
