What is this Condition?

An arachnoid cyst is a fluid-filled sac that forms between the brain or spinal cord membranes. It is usually congenital.

Diagnosis Methods

Diagnosis is made through brain CT or MRI.

Treatment Methods

Small asymptomatic cysts are followed; surgical treatment for symptomatic ones.
