Acceptance and Definitions
These Terms of Use apply to all individuals who visit or use the website at www.drozguraksan.com. By accessing the Platform, each user is deemed to have read, understood, and unconditionally accepted these terms.
Definitions used in this document:

- "User": All persons visiting the Platform
Medical Disclaimer
Does Not Replace Diagnosis and Treatment. No content on the Platform (articles, videos, case studies, explanations, visuals) replaces medical diagnosis or treatment. The information here is for general informational purposes only.
Second Opinion. Evaluations made on radiological images (MRI, CT, X-ray, etc.) submitted through the Platform are only 'second opinion' in nature. These evaluations do not constitute definitive medical diagnosis and are not binding.
Emergencies. The Platform is not an emergency medical service system. In life-threatening situations (stroke, loss of consciousness, suspected brain hemorrhage, severe trauma, etc.) please contact 112 Emergency Services immediately.
User Obligations
Truthful Information. The User agrees that all information and documents shared through the Platform (identity, contact, medical data) belong to them and are accurate and up-to-date.
Lawful Use.
- May not attempt to harm the system with software, viruses, bots, scraping, etc.
- May not share content that damages the honor of the physician, is misleading, or unlawful.
- May not use the Platform for commercial spam or advertising purposes.
Intellectual Property Rights
All content on the Platform (texts, images, videos, graphics, surgical technique descriptions) belongs to Dr. Özgür Akşan and is protected under Law No. 5846 on Intellectual and Artistic Works.
Legal action will be taken in case of unauthorized copying, reproduction, distribution or commercial use.
Limitation of Liability
The Physician cannot be held responsible for the following:
- Technical failures, internet outages, server problems
- Data losses resulting from the user's own error
- Problems arising from third-party services
No guarantee is given that the Platform will operate without interruption or error.
Links and Third-Party Sites
External links on the Platform are for informational purposes only. The Physician is not responsible for the content of these sites.
AI assistant
- Ayşe and Atlas on the site are AI assistants, not physicians. Their answers are general information and appointment guidance, not a medical diagnosis or treatment recommendation.
- The assistant may give wrong or incomplete information. Do not make decisions about your health without talking to the physician.
- What you write to the assistant and your voice conversation are processed as described in the KVKK Information Notice.
- In an emergency, call 112 instead of using the assistant.
Payment
For services paid for through the site, the Cancellation and Refund Terms apply: /en/cancellation-refund-policy. Before payment, a summary of the service, the fee and the cancellation-refund terms is shown and your confirmation is obtained.
Changes
When these terms are updated, they are published on this page with a new version number and effective date; earlier versions are kept in the archive. The current version takes effect on the date of publication.
