However, understanding coding, data analysis, and artificial intelligence tools is increasingly expected; the "digitally literate surgeon" seems likely to become the standard in the upcoming period. The only thing that remains unchanged is that the patient is not a "case", but a part of a family.

Turkish neurosurgery has shown rapid development in the last 20 years.
