Diagnosis Methods
In evaluation, MRI showing the entire spine is the primary method; computed tomography (CT) reveals bone lysis. Where the cancer originated, where it has spread in the body, and its effect on the nervous system are all considered together. The treatment plan is made considering the disease progression and the person's general condition.
