What is this Condition?
Epiduroscopy involves fiber-optic visualization and treatment of the epidural space entered through the sacral hiatus. Adhesiolysis, medication delivery, and laser treatment can be performed.
Diagnosis Methods
Epidural pathology is evaluated with MRI. Indication is determined in patients who do not respond to conservative treatment.
Treatment Methods
Entry is made through the sacral hiatus under local anesthesia. Adhesions are mechanically released and targeted medication is applied.
