What is this Condition?
Transforaminal epidural injection delivers steroids and local anesthetics around a specific nerve root through the neural foramen for targeted pain relief.
Diagnosis Methods
Nerve root compression is detected on MRI. Target is confirmed with contrast injection under fluoroscopic guidance.
Treatment Methods
Under fluoroscopic guidance, medication is injected around the nerve root through the neural foramen. 1-3 sessions can be performed.
