Ultrasound evaluation of brain vessels through the skull or fontanelle
What is This Treatment?
A non-invasive diagnostic method using ultrasound waves through the skull bones or open fontanelle to evaluate blood flow velocity and direction in brain vessels. It is used for monitoring vasospasm, increased intracranial pressure, and cerebral circulation disorders.

Treatment Process
The ultrasound probe is placed over the temporal bone or fontanelle. Flow velocities in brain arteries (MCA, ACA, PCA, basilar artery) are measured in Doppler mode.
