Artificial intelligence is now being used not only in the operating room but also in patient communication. Atlas and Ayşe are two examples of assistants developed for this purpose.

Atlas — Voice AI Assistant
Atlas is an artificial intelligence assistant capable of voice communication via phone and messaging apps. It provides a natural Turkish conversation experience using ElevenLabs ConvAI technology.
What Can It Do?
- Appointment creation and management
- Preoperative preparation information
- Clinic working hours and transportation information
- Answers to frequently asked questions
- Emergency guidance (directing to 112)
How Does It Work? These types of assistants operate through a voice interface embedded on clinic websites or via messaging apps; the patient communicates by speaking or typing.
Ayşe — Text AI Assistant
Ayşe is an artificial intelligence assistant that provides text-based support through a chat window.
What Can It Do?
- Answering medical questions in understandable language
- Directing to blog and article content
- Appointment guidance
- General information about surgical procedures
These types of assistants operate through a voice interface embedded on clinic websites or via messaging apps; the patient communicates by speaking or typing.
Artificial Intelligence and Patient Safety
Atlas and Ayşe never make diagnoses or provide treatment recommendations. Their duties are providing information, guidance, and appointment management. Medical evaluation is always performed personally by a physician. AI assistants do not replace the doctor-patient relationship; they support it.1
